It’s day 62 of the 100 day challenge so it’s time for another check on the most loved blog posts so far! We are 62% through the challenge and there have been some key favourites so far so I have summed them up in this post to highlight the top 5 posts you have all been loving. This ranking is from the last 30 days, if you would like to see the first 30 days favourites, check it out here!

1) The Best 'No' I Ever Got

15 year old me would not believe I am writing this today. She was hopeless, disappointed and full of shame. I was rejected from what I thought would be the first step to a life of success: a scholarship at a private school. At 15, I thought I had my whole life figured out! I would get a scholarship, go to private school, then Cambridge University to study economics and live a life of abundance. The issue was, I didn’t really know what abundance looked like besides tons of cash in the bank. So when I got rejected, when the first part of the plan didn’t take off, I lost hope for my future. This is the story of how my rejection became the best redirection.

2) Quit, don’t quit…

Today’s thoughts are inspired by a turtle. A cartoon turtle, from Kung Fu Panda, called Master Oogway. I woke up this morning with this quote in my head, which is quite random since I haven’t actually watched the movie in a while. There are many lessons to learn from the animated animals in this movie; today we’re focusing on this one:

“Quit, don't quit... Noodles, don't noodles... You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.”

3) May we never loose our wonder

“Wonder” by Amanda Cook and Bethel Music.
This song has been playing in my mind rent-free ever since I discovered it a couple of weeks ago. The lyrics are simple and easy to learn—two verses that repeat. They ask that we never lose our wonder, that we remain like a child, being in awe of the beauty of God. The creative mind is a powerful, yet fragile thing. As a creative child of God, these lyrics mean so much more to me, so here are my thoughts.

4) LMBC: Let Me Be Creative

Today marks officially one month until I will be handing in my official final project to uni. That sounds like a good time to reveal what my project is. I have been working on this project for a while now after the idea came to me last summer. I am sooooooooo excited about it and even more excited to share it with you all! Of course, I can’t share it all because I do have to hand this in as part of my submission at uni - I have no intention of plagiarising myself - but I can share some snippets here and there…

5) The Real Villain of The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada is one of my favourite films and I can quote some scenes word for word. After watching it a gazillion times, it is so obvious that there was more than one villain. Miranda may have been… ok let's be real… she was a horrible boss. Let’s not try to normalise or accommodate her toxic behaviour. She was definitely the work villain. However, this blog post is about the everyday villain in Andy’s life that may be in yours. The one that meets you one way and expects that version for the next 60 years. Change may be good for you, but scary for others.

I am loving writing every day for you all and also for myself! There are many more blogs to come and continue to send me your reviews via DM or comment because I love to read them! Make sure to subscribe via email below for updates on new articles.
